It's been a long time between Skywatches, but I'm happy to be posting this as my first one from Chiang Mai, Thailand. I just like the inky sky against the stadium-style lighting of this soccer field, which wears really a much more pedestrian look by day. Thanks to the game schedule, the team was also very happy to be training at dusk today, instead of the blazing heat of mid-afternoon.Sometimes, you can see planes skirting the tops of the trees (or so it seems), as they land at Chiang Mai airport. None would oblige me this evening, however, and I had to get on with it.
