Apparently there can be good things about being stuck in traffic jams.

This shot reminds me of the painting Nighthawks, by Edward Hopper... just without the people. (I always feel a bit funny about photographing random people on the street.)

Would you believe it if I said this was a contemporary art installation? No? Well, you need to get out and see more contemporary art, then :)

It's actually the interior 'before' shot of Carmel and Terence's new place. I think the exhibition's got character, but somehow I think it'll only be temporary.

Went with my friend Annie to visit Monet - he's come to the Art Gallery of NSW. We'd last seen him in his gardens at Giverny, 31st October, 2006, just before they closed for the winter season. This is a detail from a post at the entrance to Art Gallery road.
