Sadly, and all too soon, it was time for Andrea & Yian to go. This is a picture of Andrea's gorgeous little suitcase (and the Viking's Charlie Brown in the background).

Popping into my local library the other day, I picked up a magazine on photography. One of the articles suggested just going around your home and choosing different objects for inspiration. The necklace I wore to yesterday's wedding was lying around, and it seemed to fit the bill.

The red background is my bedhead. (Yes, my bed is red.)

I don't know why, of all the sights to see at the Sydney Biennale, this caught my eye so much. (Just an installation, if you like, outside a building on Cockatoo Island.) It's Easter Sunday. Hmm... a bunch of wine glasses probably isn't the most pious image, is it? Then again, wasn't changing water into wine Jesus' first miracle? ;)

A sumptuous lunch at Andy & Ed's place. (They have matching wine glasses!)

This is the sow's ear from which Jane will make her lovely silk purses - costumes for the school musical. I hope to post up an "after" picture at a later date.

None of us are big drinkers in our family, so when Auntie Millie arrived from overseas, we split half a bottle of dessert wine amongst the nine of us. (As you can see, we didn't even have the requisite number of wine glasses to make a matching set!)

Still life with garlic. I really can't explain sometimes why an image just grabs me.

Earth Hour today! Candles for the cause.
