This is the peace offering my Extension students brought me after arriving late from Maccas to our afternoon lesson. They had wanted the poor Maccas hack to write "Sorry" on the chocolate croissant in chocolate sauce, but he probably wasn't being paid enough to qualify as skilled labour. This lop-sided smiley face was the best he could manage (not helped by the runniness of the sauce, and the bends in the road between Maccas and school).My review? Well, the syrup reminded me of my students grovelling - sickly sweet! But the pastry wasn't bad and the chocolate surprisingly substantial.
