More Teacher Appreciation stuff... I think these flowers are lovely, but I don't think gifts are my love language. Just quality of day-to-day interaction is enough for me.

"Stories are the flowers of English," one of my students said the other day. For me (somewhat less poetically), orchids are the flowers of Thailand. These belong to my neighbours down the street.

Finally ventured out from training today to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. I think the word for this riot of orchids is: exquisite.
